After observing traffic patterns over the past few weeks and listening to feedback from nearby residents, the Town has removed two of the recently installed stop signs at the intersection of Appalachian Way and Oklahoma Road. Greybeard Trail Closed 9/27/25
Greybeard Trail is currently closed due to utility crews working in the roadway. Residents and visitors may travel around the “Do Not Enter” sign on West Virginia Terrace to connect back to Greybeard Trail. Please do so with caution. The roadway is currently expected to open at approximately 12:00 pm.

Helene Restoration Continues At long last, the Assembly Drive/Lookout Road intersection is returning to pre-Hurricane Helene standards. Paving, including the stamped concrete crosswalk, is being completed today. North Carolina Terrace Road Closure 8/14/25
North Carolina Terrace will be closed most of the day on Thursday, August 14th just past the spring for damaged tree removal. Anyone living past the spring may want to move their vehicles out to prevent being blocked in. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
