Texas Road Bridge is closed to pedestrian traffic. An inspection revealed that the existing widespread timber decay was made worse by Hurricane Helene. The bridge is structurally unsound. Metropolitan Sewerage District of Buncombe County has notified us that they will be working in the areas of Greybeard Trail, Kentucky Road, and Assembly Circle on Wednesday, October 30th.
