NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

Friday, July 17, 2026

                                       Town Hall & Zoom Meeting Software              

The Montreat Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Town Hall, 1210 Montreat Road.  The purpose of this meeting is as follows:

  • To consider adoption of a revised property tax rate for FY 2026-2027 in response to the enactment of SB 474 and its impact on Buncombe County property revaluation and municipal tax levies;
  • To consider a resolution authorizing the donation of surplus Town equipment
