Public Works Notice – Temporary Water Discoloration on Appalachian Way

Yesterday, the Public Works Department performed culvert flushing work on Greybeard Trail. During this process, sediment in the water lines was disturbed, which has affected the color of the water on Appalachian Way.

Public Works staff will be flushing hydrants on Appalachian Way today to help clear the lines and restore normal water clarity.

Residents may also help clear their household lines by running an outside faucet for a short period of time until the water runs clear.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as crews work to resolve the issue.
