The Montreat Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. or as soon as possible thereafter in the Town Hall, 1210 Montreat Road, Montreat, NC.

This meeting was continued from Thursday, July 16, 2026.

An agenda and draft minutes will be posted once they are available.

The purpose of this hearing is to consider an application request submitted by Mountain Retreat Association, Applicant, for the lot addressed as 309 Collegiate Circle, Montreat, NC 28757 and described as PIN# 071096345100000.  The request is for a map amendment per Section 511 of the Montreat Zoning Ordinance to allow a Planned Unit Development (PUD) on the lot addressed as 309 Collegiate Circle, Montreat, NC 28757. If approved a PUD zoning District shall be established through the process for rezoning the lot described as PIN# 071096345100000 from IR zoning District (current zoning) to PUD zoning District, pursuant to the procedures for amendments as set forth in Section 309 of Montreat Zoning Ordinance.
