This will impact houses on Mississippi Road at Mecklenburg Circle, Frist Road, Mississippi Ext. and possibly Westminster Terrace. A large tree fell this morning at the beginning of Greybeard Trail. It has caused a significant amount of damage and will require the road to be closed most of the day. Please be aware that there are downed power lines and cable lines all over Montreat. The lines could be in driveways, yards, main roads and side roads. Please do not under any circumstances touch or attempt to move these lines because they could still be live and could cause serious injury.

Water is out on Tennessee Road…..it could potentially be awhile until fixed. The Water Department is actively fixing the problem. Thank you for your understanding!
