Water has been restored on Lower Kentucky Road. Please let the cold water run for a while to improve discoloration before doing laundry or dishes. Water is safe to eat/drink.

There will be a temporary water service shutdown on Lower Kentucky Road on the afternoon of 12/28/22-service will be restored as soon as possible as soon as repairs are completed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

After the terribly cold weather Montreat faced over the past weekend there is a possibility of frozen and/or burst pipes in Montreat. Wells have been working overtime in the past 48 hours so Public Works suspects that there are leaks somewhere in Town. Please check your homes and your neighbors homes and report any leaks…
