Traffic Pattern Updates: Appalachian Way

We would like to share some important traffic updates along Appalachian Way.

• A 4-Way Stop has been installed at the intersection of Appalachian Way, South Carolina Terrace, and Florida Terrace.
• A 3-Way Stop has been installed at the intersection of Appalachian Way and Oklahoma Road.

In recent months, the Town has experienced increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Feedback from our recent Townwide survey showed that residents’ top concerns are speeding and overall traffic safety.

While we recognize these changes may cause some initial inconvenience, they are important steps toward traffic calming and protecting public safety. We would also like to thank our Public Works team for their quick and effective response in implementing these measures.
