BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED – OCT. 18, 2024

Based on laboratory analysis of water samples, Town of Montreat water customers are hereby notified that it is no longer necessary to boil water used for human consumption. Note that some discoloration is normal.

Homes on the following streets will see intermittent water coming through the faucet within the next 24-36 hours. Boil advisory in effect until further notice. Water must come to a rolling boil for at least one full minute. Please conserve water, this is an emergency water supply. Power has not been restored, this water supply is running off of a generator.
