Mayor’s Summary of the December 14, 2023 Town Council Meeting

The BMFD would like your opinion on the services they provide. Would you take a few minutes to complete a survey so they can assess and improve services? CLICK HERE to take the short survey. They will be most appreciative of your participation.
Hiring Two Police Officers
The Montreat Police Department is in need of two police officers. Officers Morgan Bocanegra and Kayla Gant are leaving with new opportunities. Spread the word and direct inquiries to Chief David Arrant at [email protected]. And, take time to thank Morgan and Kayla for their service.
Expect Late Water Bills This Month
Due to implementation of new financial software in the Town, December water bills will be slightly delayed. They will likely be mailed next week or the following. But no worries, you will have the same amount of time to pay your bill and no late fees will be assessed for the December bills.
Thank you for your understanding, and we are excited about the rollout of this new software system.
