The Montreat Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter in the Town Hall, 1210 Montreat Rd, Montreat, NC. The meeting will be held by Zoom Software and in person attendance.
The Montreat Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing for a Conditional Zoning (i.e. rezoning) request for vacant residential property located at Lot 1185, Mississippi Rd. (PIN#07106501680000, located between 157 and 161 Mississippi Rd., Montreat, NC) at their July 14, 2022 meeting at 7 p.m. The property is zoned R-1 Low-Density Residential district and the rezoning request is for R-1 Low-Density Residential CZ (Conditional Zoning) to build a single-family detached house with 10′ side setback on the south side (15′ side setback is the R-1 district standard).
