The Montreat Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter in the Town Hall, 1210 Montreat Road, Montreat, NC.

The purpose of the public hearing is as follows: A variance request for Lot 778 in Montreat’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) for a 10’ wide side setback on the property’s west side. The Montreat Zoning Ordinance required 15’ side setbacks for Single-Family and Two-Family Dwelling Units. The property is zoned R-3 Low-Density Residential district.
