COVID-19 Update

Special Montreat Minute

Greetings, Montreaters—

We hope and trust everyone is doing well during this challenging period. We’d like to give you several pertinent updates that, we hope, will be helpful during this crisis:

• As you may know, Ingles grocery stores have set up a special time for seniors to shop. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 8:00am, are restricted for seniors’ shopping as well as those with compromised immune systems. Other grocery stores in Asheville also have designated times for senior shopping.
  
  
• The Town has set up a special water bill drop box at the Town Services offices. The box is next to the flag pole to the right of the front door.
  
  
• Buncombe County is readying plans for a Stay Home/Stay Safe initiative. We’ll keep you informed of plans.
  
  
• We want to share several valuable videos on how to protect yourselves from the coronavirus.
