There is a mandatory evacuation for houses along the following Montreat streets: Texas Road, Texas Road Spur and Texas Road Extension. There are shelters available at First Baptist Church in Swannanoa, Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church in Black Mountain and Trinity Baptist Church in West Asheville. Use caution and be safe.
