The Town of Montreat is currently seeking applicants for the position of Utility Maintenance Technician/Treatment Operator.  This person will perform a variety of equipment operation, water line and streets maintenance and water systems monitoring and repair duties.  Graduation from high school or GED required.  Experience in skilled maintenance and construction work with water systems and operation of heavy equipment with CDL and N.C. Class “C” well water and/or distribution certifications preferred.  Salary Range:  $30,218 - $45,327.  Pre-employment drug testing.  Position open until filled.  EOE.
