Kaila (right) began as a Patrol Officer in November. Kaila has administrative experience in the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Department  and completed her Basic Law Enforcement Training in October.

Need Help Raking Leaves?

Members of the Montreat College Tennis Team are available to rake and bag leaves.  Students are earning money to help pay for a spring break trip to compete in three matches in Florida. This helps our community Firewise efforts to remove leaves, too.

Contact person for the work is Coach Jim Lavender, who takes care of assignments and oversees the work. He can be reached by phone or text at 954-504-3168 or email: [email protected]. Jim says this work will be especially helpful for those team members who are challenged to provide funding for the trip.
